Join your colleagues at the NCLGBT Health Spring Meeting in Washington,
DC, on March 16-18, 2003.
The National Coalition for LGBT Health hopes you will
join your colleagues from around the country at the Spring Meeting in
Washington, DC from Sunday, March 16th to Tuesday, March 18th, 2003. The
coalition is committed to improving the health and well being of lesbian,
gay, bisexual and transgender individuals and communities through public
education, coalition building and advocacy that focuses on research, policy,
education and training.
These two days will kick off LGBT Health Awareness week and this will
be our first lobbying opportunity as a coalition with the new Members
of the 108th Congress. National organizations, local organizations, and
individuals will all take part in our efforts.
The focus of this conference will be advancing the coalition's common
interest, as stated in Healthy People 2010, at the White House, Department
of Health and Human Service, Congress and other entities. We will be meeting
with various congressional offices and returning to federal agencies that
directly impact the LGBT health policy of our country. Your attendance
will ensure that we move forward with a strong unified voice for LGBT
health.
Registration fee for the meeting is only $50
for our members and non-members. Please, fill out the online
registration form, download the
form (MS-WORD format), call 202-797-3516, or email us at coalition@lgbthealth.net.
