The Spring 2006 meeting of the National Coalition for LGBT health will held in Washington, DC, on March 19 and 20 at the Washington Plaza Hotel, at 10 Thomas Circle, NW. The meeting agenda includes a panel on LGBT health policy issues, and an informative session on the state of LGBT health research. Staff from the National Coalition for LGBT Health will also make advocacy appointments for interested Coalition members with congressional staff and administration officials. The meeting will include comprehensive training on conducting advocacy visits, as well as specific LGBT health policy topics to be covered in the meetings.The National Coalition for LGBT Health has reserved a block of rooms at the Washington Plaza Hotel at special rate of $169 per night single or double occupancy.
