Welcome to the website for the fourth annual National LGBT Health Awareness Week! National LGBT Health Awareness Week is a very visible way for you and your organization to promote lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender health in your community and across the nation. The theme of the 2006 National LGBT Health Awareness Week is "Own Your Health. Get Checked Out." The major objective of the program is to encourage members of the LGBT community to be aware of their own health and take concrete steps, such as getting regular physical exams, to become and stay healthy.
